Did you know…?

On July 12, 2017, a trillion ton iceberg broke away from Antarctica. Not only that, but scientists say that Earth’s ice sheets are melting at the fastest rate in history.

With all this cold and snow (at least where I am), it can be hard to imagine that, in other places in the world, ice is melting fast.

Did you know….?

Volcanos contribute to about 5% of the global emissions total. Not much at all. Actually, when a volcano erupts, it releases tons of gases and blocks some of the Earth from the sun. It starts a cycle of global cooling, not warming.

So if anyone ever says that volcanos are the source of global warming, you can tell them that.
